Sofia Helin Says Farewell to 'The Bridge'

Swedish Actress Bids Adieu to Iconic Character Saga Noren

Helin Reflects on the End of an Era

Swedish actress Sofia Helin has announced that she will not return to her role as Saga Noren in the popular crime drama series 'The Bridge'. Helin, who has played the enigmatic detective since the show's inception in 2011, has revealed that it will be a relief to finally say goodbye to the character.

"It's been an incredible journey, but it's time for us to move on," said Helin in a recent interview. "Saga has been a part of my life for so long, and I'll always cherish the time we've had together. But I'm ready for a new chapter."

Helin's decision comes as 'The Bridge' prepares to air its final season. The show, which has been a critical and commercial success, has been praised for its complex characters and gripping storylines.

Helin will next be seen in the upcoming World War II drama 'Atlantic Crossing', where she plays the role of Princess Martha of Norway. The actress is excited to take on this new challenge, which she believes will be a fitting way to end her time on 'The Bridge'.

"I've always been drawn to characters who are on a journey," said Helin. "And Martha is no exception. She's a woman who is forced to grow up fast and find her own voice in the midst of a great crisis. I'm honored to be able to tell her story."
